SIS Reception at TLA Annual Conference
SIS invites you to attend a special reception at the Tennessee Library Association (TLA) Annual Conference on Thursday, April 10, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm in Salon A. The school hosts this annual SIS reception for students, alumni, faculty, and friends to network, socialize, and fraternize with TLA members. This year, we will pay tribute to Dr. Bill Robinson, who is retiring from SIS in May, and who will attend the SIS reception. So, please drop in, enjoy some h’or dourves, good company, and something refreshing to drink. Students, alumni, and friends of the school are all welcome to attend.
The Spring 2008 issue of Interface is now available.
This issue reports on some of the school’s efforts to engage information professionals around the country to maintain a critical balance between theory and practice.
