The SIS Alumni Board exists to support the programs of the School of Information Sciences and to promote professional and social interaction among its alumni. This year’s Alumni Board will organize the Homecoming Brunch, seek nominations for the Distinguished Alumni, and organize the Alumni & Friends Day. The SIS Alumni Association is governed by its Bylaws.
The primary duties of the Alumni Board include:
- Promoting and organizing 2 alumni events
- Board meets 2-4 times per year as needed
- Board encourages nominations for alumni awards
- Board encourages nominations for its own election
