Former Director Dr. Elizabeth Aversa will return to deliver the final lecture in the Past Director Lecture Series. She served as Director and Professor of the School of Information Sciences at The University of Tennessee from 1999 - 2003.

The event will be held in the Scripps Convergence Lab Theater in the Communications Building on September 28, 2011. A free lunch of sandwiches will be served beginning at 11:30. Dr. Aversa's lecture will begin at 12:30.
Dr. Aversa's lecture is titled, "Changing Lives Through Information Services and Technologies". She earned her Ph.D. from Drexel University and has most recently served as the Director of the School of Library and Information Studies at The University of Alabama. Her research interests include library management, systems analysis, bibliometrics, and library and information science education.
Make plans to join the event on Wednesday September 28 for a free lunch and for what promises to be a very interesting lecture.
