Tiffani Conner is the Project Manager for Volunteer Voices, “The Growth of Democracy in Tennessee, an IMLS-funded digitization project that uses 10 partners across Tennessee to seek 10,000 images of all types for digitization and retrieval. - Meet the Information Professionals 2: Patricia Powell
Pat Powell is a graduate of SIS and works in Business Development at Information International Associates in Oak Ridge Tennessee, an organization that focuses on work under government contracts. IIA has several SIS graduates employed and has provided practicum experiences for SIS students as well. - Meet the Information Professionals 3: Robert Conrad
Bob Conrad is an SIS graduate and is director of the research library at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, UT/Battelle. Several SIS graduates work at the ORNL Library, and the library has supported practicums to SIS students. - Meet the Information Professionals 4: Steve Cotham
Steve Cotham is an author, speaker, and the manager of the Calvin M. McClung Historical Collection of the Knox County Library. He is a graduate of SIS and has sponsored SIS student in practicums. - Meet the Information Professionals 5: Doris Martinson
Doris Martinson is the Manager and Archivist of the Knox County Archives, Knoxville, Tennessee. Doris is a graduate of SIS and has a Masters of Fine Arts. She has supported numerous practicum students at the Archives. She is a Certified Archivist. - Meet the Information Professionals 6: Tom Whisman
Tom Whisman is the Business Reference Librarian at the Knox County Public Library. Tom has been employed at the Knox County Public Library since 1988. Tom has supported a number of practicums in the Business section of the reference department. He is a graduate of SIS and has been active on the school’s Alumni Board.
