Information technology is a vital resource for the faculty, staff and students at the School of Information Sciences. We are committed to ensuring that the IT resources available at SIS are a useful tool, not a hindrance. The following IT resources are key components to your experience as a student at the University of Tennessee. Once you know what they are and how to use them, you'll have access to most IT resources at UT. A good place to start is UT's OIT home page. The Office of Information Technology also provides "Show Me" files, which offer video demonstrations with step by step instructions on various computing topics.
We have posted a list of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Competencies expected of incoming SIS students, and a list of ICT Learning Resources.
