UT provides each student with a Unix account that includes 50 MB of storage space. This space can be used to store files, eliminating the need to carry around jump drives. Your Unix account also provides the means to setup your own personal web page on the web.utk.edu server. For more information, visit the OIT UNIX page.

- For Macs or Windows, we suggest using FileZilla (free). Download here.
- Cyperduck will work with either Windows or Mac (free). Download here or from the Apple App Store.
