ALA Spectrum Initiative.
The American Library Association sponsors the Spectrum Initiative, which is a program designed to increase ethnic minority representation in the information professions. Graduate Diversity Enhancement Fellowship.
This fellowship provides financial support to first-time enrolled graduate students demonstrating significant potentioal to contribute to the educational mission of the Graduate School by presenting one or more of a wide range of diverse attributes.
Hilton A. Smith Graduate Fellowship. This award is made to students who are nominated by individual academic departments.
Lori Mayer Re-entry Women's Graduate Fellowships. This fellowship is open to entering graduate women students who are U.S. citizens, 27 years of age or older, and who have been out of a formal educational program for at least five years.
Roger K. Summit Scholarship. Three SIS students have won this distinguished award in the recent past. One award recipient, Ann Clapp, tells her "Secret to Winning the Roger K. Summit Dialog Award."
