SIS Fall Picnic at Tyson Park

Alumni and friends of the University of Tennessee's School of Information Sciences are invited to join SIS students at a school-wide picnic at Tyson Park this Saturday, October 24, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm.

This year’s SIS Alumni Board chose to combine their fall alumni event with the yearly student picnic to get to know students in the SIS program and to share food, ideas, and fun. Interest and participation in the student professional organizations have been very spirited this year, and we hope that this will energize school alumni to come meet SIS students, new alumni board members, and catch up with your former classmates and favorite faculty members.

Spouses, significant others, friends and family are always welcome to join us.

Sonny’s Bar-b-q will cater this event for alumni and friends and will serve:
Chicken and pork bar-b-q, baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob, bread & butter, tea and lemonade

WHERE: Tyson Park* (2351 Kingston Pike, Knoxville)
WHEN: October 24, from Noon - 4:00 p.m.
COST: $8 per person or $25 for a family up to 5 (No charge for students who will be pot-lucking)
