Attention students:

Don’t forget to sign up for the Tennessee Library Association Legislative Day on Wednesday, February 24! This is an all-day event; our group transportation will be pulling out of Knoxville at 6:30am and we try to get back before the Wednesday evening classes, so you won’t be missing any course work.

On Wednesday, February 24:

6:30am - Leave Knoxville

9:30am - Arrive at Nashville Public
Library

9:50am - Morning Program

12:00pm - Meet your Legislators at
Doubletree Downtown Hotel

12:30pm - Legislative Luncheon

1:30pm - Meet with Legislators

3:00pm - Leave Nashville

6:30pm - Arrive in Knoxville in time
to attend Wednesday night classes.

Please not that we will leave on Wednesday morning and
return on Wednesday evening. This is NOT an overnight event.

Registration for this event is $25 can be accessed via http://tnla.org/cde.cfm?event=251484. An anonymous donor has provide scholarships for the first eight people who sign up to attend. This means that eight (8) people can attend the TN Library Legislative Day for FREE! We will send in your registration and you can ride in the van/carpool with other SIS students and professors. Lunch is included in the registration.
