What: Presentations and professional forums on political advocacy for libraries
Judith Gibbons will provide the morning’s keynote presentation.
There will be a Table Talks session with sub-advocacy topics in the afternoon.
This year's Alumni & Friends will be held in the University Center Shiloh Room and is open to all friends of the School of Information Sciences.
Lunch will be served in the Executive Dining Room.
Tours of the School of Information Sciences will be available afterwards.
BIO:
Judith Gibbons will provide the morning’s keynote presentation. Gibbons is director of the field services division at the Kentucky Department for Libraries. She is also president-elect of the Southeastern Library Association and co-chair of the ALA Advocacy Assembly.
