What: An open and interactive discussion of Web 2.0.

When: Thursday, February 7, 2008, 6-8pm
Please join us on Thursday February 7, 2008, when UT’s School of Information Science’s student chapter of TLA will present an open and interactive discussion of Web 2.0. This presentation will showcase current examples of Web 2.0 and how these interfaces are affecting libraries. It will also discuss the creation and implementation of the current SIS website, www.sis.utk.edu, and the Web 2.0 capabilities included in the site. The presentation will conclude with a brief examination of Web 3.0 and where current technologies might be headed. Please come and share any experiences you have that would add depth to the discussion. We welcome any and all participation.
There will be finger food and refreshments before a short business meeting and the presentation.
