    We are excited to be celebrating the sixth anniversary of University of Tennessee School of Information Sciences Storytelling Festival. It is our mission to honor the art of storytelling as we promote families, the arts, and education. The festival will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the International House on the University of Tennessee campus.

    The goals of the festival are to:

    1. Provide the opportunity for enjoyment and pleasure through storytelling to the general public.
    2. Encourage the sharing of histories, traditions, talents, and the techniques and sources for selecting, preparing and offering stories to today’s audiences
