- Biography
Dr. Wang teaches courses in Organization of Information, Database Management, Research Methods, Information Retrieval and Information Seeking. Her research areas include information seeking behaviors, knowledge structures, research methodologies and methods, data mining, and citation analysis. Dr. Wang is the principal investigator of a two-year IMLS grant (2005-2007), "Modeling Web Searching Behaviors and Designing New Effective Interactions for Digital Libraries." Her honors include the the 2005 OCLC/ALISE Research Grant Award, the 2005 ASIST Outstanding Information Science Teaching Award, the 1999 Best JASIST Paper Award, and the 1994 ASIST Doctoral Forum Award. She is on the editorial board of Library & Information Science Research and reviews for several journals and conferences.
