- Biography
Vera Fessler has been Associate Director of Fairfax County Public
Library, in Fairfax, Virginia, since 1985, following
private sector experience in the development, implementation and
support of bibliographic services and databases for libraries
worldwide. Previously, she was an adjunct instructor at the Catholic
University of American Graduate School of Library and Information
Science and the University of California San Diego. She is involved in
various roles identifying and implementing emerging technologies for
FCPL, special projects, and grants and development work.
