- Biography
Ph.D. candidate in Information Sciences, emphasizing health information and communication, with public health as a secondary area. Dissertation topic is the information behavior of public health educators working in Appalachia. B.A. in Economics from California State University, Northridge. M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. Serving in 2008-09 as a research assistant for Dr. Carol Tenopir. Teaching assignments: for fall 2008, grading for IS 520 & IS530, and for spring 2009, teaching IS330 Books and Materials for Children. Interests include horseback riding, hiking, travel and pet dogs, cats, and horses.
