The SIS alumni network is nearly 3,000 strong and grows each year in size, diversity and expertise. We want you to continue to be part of the SIS family no matter where you are, or when you graduated. Your continued involvement in our community is one of the ways we maintain our ranking as one of the top library and information science programs in the country, which we strive to improve each day so that your SIS degree continues to grow in value. Help us build a strong network so we can take care of each other, and a degree that will shine as bright today as it did on the day your received it!
Stay informed about all of things that are happening at the School and learn about events where you can reunite with your SIS classmates, meet new alumni and current students, and develop your professional network, and your professional skills. Don’t miss opportunities to give-back by mentoring students and sharing your expertise with us. Recent events include alumni receptions at the both the ALA and TLA Conferences.
We maintain an online directory of SIS alumni so you can see all the diverse places where graduates work, and the range of positions they hold. Remember: You never know when you might need to call on a fellow SIS alumni for assistance or advice!
This directory also helps us make sure we have the most up-to-date contact information for you so that we can notify you of events and opportunities, and send you our monthly SIS Alumni electronic newsletter, as well as other SIS alumni print communications. You can update your information here.
Our Alumni Listserv, firstname.lastname@example.org is a discussion list for SIS alumni to share personal and professional news and events. Subscribe to the SIS Alumni Listserv here, or by clicking the button below.
