Anne is Associate Dean for Research, Collections, and Scholarly Communications at Penn State University. She was formerly the Director of Scholarly Communications; and Head Librarian, Science and Technology Libraries at Princeton University. Prior to Princeton Anne worked in academic libraries at Duke University, North Carolina State University, and began her professional career at Hodges Library, University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is the lead author on three books about academic librarianship, and has written multiple articles covering a wide variety of librarianship. Anne has mentored multiple library science students, and early career librarians, and her research interests include organizational behavior in academic libraries, transformational library management, and the implementation of new technologies in library instruction. She presently serves as the Chair of the Steering Committee for the Coalition of Open Access Policy Institutions (COAPI).
