Information science students Alexa Carter and Olivia Frederick have been conducting usability testing for the United States Geological Survey (USGS) library in Reston, Virginia. The testing is a part of National Library Week. The week runs from April 8 – 14, 2018 to celebrate the many ways libraries lead through transformative services, programs and expertise.
“What better way to celebrate the week than to assist this important library with our user experience expertise,” said CCI Associate Dean for Research Suzie Allard. “Our students have access to unique tools and training while earning their Master’s degree in Information Sciences in our CCI User eXperience Laboratory.”
